This is a ChatGPT update of an old 1957 original from VIc’s Dad, designer WER. In this modern reconstructed version a contemporary image of Betty, Vic’s Mom, is included at the wheel.

WER taught Betty to drive, since her Dad passed at the beginning of the War Years and never had a chance. His portfolio of the times shows dynamic ladies who had powered industry while the boys were away were driving a fleet of fun transportation in an entirely new world. it was drawn in a Detroit that shows some signs of coming back. We hope down here in Fairfax, but down here we are in the future she was driving to!

Those are all original sketches from 1957, the lady is from Brooklyn drawings before moving to detroit and crafting the prototypes, moving clockwise from the six o’clock position as the first real Suburban SUV with lower child containment, a sleek racer to get to important meetings fast, with a hair-dryer, the original EV with six inline cells in the trunk, and at the five o’clock post, a place for the kids to offer urban public safety!
