Dierdre’s Special Edition of Tracy O’Grady’s Best Sandwich in Town!
This was not in the production plan but it turned up in the transition of MIle’s old MacBook Pro to the new one. The sandwich below is one of a string of outstanding roast beef sandwiches Tracy O’grady would do at her fabulous Willow Restaurant on Fairfax Drive in Arlington. Kate Jansen is responsible for the fluffy Kemmelweck rolls.
It was just around the corner from the CACI office suites Old Sat Jake ran there for more than a decade of fun times in government contracting. The sandwiches might have contributed to the success of the enterpise! Anyway, the meat was superb and the rolls cannot be beat. Go Willow! Go Weck!
Willlow sadly closed in 2015. We are still hoping Tracy brings something like it right back!
