I have been cooking and entertaining for months, and I need a break. We did Halloween yesterday, but I still have people to feed after the Michigan–Rutgers game, which featured a gridiron confrontation between two of the top three teams that have played the college game since it was inaugurated here.

There was a dramatic show at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey. It was different than games at the Big House in Ann Arbor, since there were still some empty seats to be had in the end zone for the crowd.

Rutgers played tough in a competitive contest but thank goodness young Michigan Freshman QB Carr was able to squirm his way to two rushing touchdowns and we could turn our attention to other things. Ones i could delegate to other trustworthy Galley hangers-on.

Yo! Rocket!
