This one caught Splash and Vic by surprise. they had been analyzing the five US Senate races to see what sort of mischief would be coming up. The image above shows the level of discourse that will be coming up in Michigan as they decide who will represent them in the coming struggles here in DC.

Vic was struck by this particular bit of campaign politics since he said his first speeding ticket was on Woodward Avenue a long time ago. “120 in a 50 zone” is what he termed the offense, the consequences of which lingered for years. The ticket was imposed just a little further northwest on Woodward, out past the stoplights on the way to Pontiac.

Which is where you get quickly at 120 MPH.

The car was a loaner of a sweet 1969 Dodge Charger RT that a good pal was driving from his Dad’s Chrysler performance shop. Oops.

So, that was going to be the afternoon update but Deirdre insisted on getting some of the cookbook on the wire, so she provided this one because it is so easy. Just mix it up. We don’t need heat to make it right, just a nice touch and a chill before serving!
