Dierdre’s Cheesy Bacon Sliders

OK,OK, we had to get the Professionals article out of the way for Miles and the Boomers who went over to Army-Navy for the Spring Red Tie affair yesterday. They were slow out of the gate this morning since the luncheon led on to some other things and Dierdre saw a chance on getting one of her go-to snack batches off the shelf and laid out for her cook-book on how to feed a 24 x 7 section watching all manner of horrors/

It was good to get the gray beards out of the Conference Room on what was a lovely day in DELMARVA/ With the grown-ups out of the Conference Room. Dierdre had a chance to grab one of her standard recipes for casual luncheons or FIFA events coming up in June.

“I like this one.” she said, squaring her shoulders with a bright smile. “It’s a simple one-two motion from oven to skillet with those frittered onions and cheese. You can add mushrooms or peppers too if you wish. It is an inclusive recipe! The aroma of those Hawaiian Special rolls! Goodness, so tasty.

“How much to make?” she asked. “If I was feeding one watch section, these are the proportions i would use, but just double or triple the ingredients if you have several groups cycling through things.
and left overs, however unusual, can be good in the fridge for a couple days!”
