We were going to do something under what may be a last kiss of semi-summer sun in NoVA. After the big storms there is a perfect bliss of azure above the patio!
The METOC crowd at Socotra House who watch the Weather Channel say we have a seasonal warmth for a day or two before a brush of chill. So we tilt into fall!
Naturally, Dierdre has grabbed a product line in the company kitchen upstairs to do the mixing and assembling noted on the recipe card.
She also told Splash to go over to Whole Foods for a ready gallon or two of their house brand to go with Happy Hour.
In case it starts early on one of the last golden days of summer as thing strain at the seams of global and civil transitions!
