Anniversary of Something Big….

Below is a picture of the corner at 58 Bagley Ave in Detroit. It was once a house belonging to a young man named Henry Ford, who worked as Chief Engineer over at the Edison plant in what was then near downtown in a place looking toward the future.

On the first ride- a pal riding a bicycle ahead for clearance of the two-speed transmission (10 and 20 MPH) and no brakes.

The Quadricycle? It still exists, and is on display at the Museum Henry left behind to give a tail to the future he helped create!
