A Quiet Sunday

It was a quiet Sunday on the Fourth Floor at Socotra HQ in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
Miles was back from a round of consulting over in Arlington, while Pastor Frank stopped by on his way to the ten o’clock service at the AME & C Chapel, where he performs his Sabbath duties. Deirdre was finally enjoying a little downtime after the whirlwind of the Gold Cup and Rocket’s celebrated prime rib feast. Holly joined Splash in the Galley, putting together another big pot of creamy chicken with vodka sauce.
Splash refused to let that recipe disappear without writing it down, and I don’t blame him. I may have to join him for a bowl myself.
They tell us there will be more happening out there soon.
We’ll be ready for it.
See you tomorrow!
