Miles looked down the table with a frown. “Too soon to tell how this is going to play out. No BDA yet. We expect something before lunch, and we may learn if the leadership was taken out, or if there was chem/bio payloads in the missile response by Iran. We won’t know about that for a while. Drones flying all over.”

Splash leaned forward. “They may have something inbound to targets closer than our Arab pals and Israelis. While there may be no domestic threat this morning, there is the possibility that there is a last act- or acts- by the now- battered Iranian regime.

Too soon to tell what happened in the Israeli-CIA covert campaign.

Stand by for news. There are reports that Iran has launched some medium-range ballistic missiles at targets around the Gulf. No reports of injuries or damage yet.

And God Bless those who are conducting an operation many years overdue and which many at this table have already contributed to a long and painful struggle that has seen such peril and sorrow.
