With the Season Rolling In…

Hot morning in politics and a tumult coming in our Weather! The left-of-center candidate for the US Senate in Texas has disappeared from the campaign trail due to Flu, by some accounts, or an allergy to beef food products according to other traditional Texans.
We thank the Lord for the blessings of the peaceful heavens this season, a phenomenon influenced by the large El Niño weather phenomenon. But our first hurricane is going to sweep the Gulf Coast later today. We think we are supposed to be saying ‘American Gulf’ Coast these days but we are easily disoriented between weather and politics.
In any event, what parts of the storm are not scraped off by the lands blanketed in Fall colors down south will arrive Sunday through Monday with an inch or two of rain and residual winds before blowing off eastward..
In order to help Candidate Tellarico, we thought we would include a nutritious recipe for one of Holly’s popular non-beef products from Autumn Olive:
Holly’s Slow-Cook Pork Pulls

This Sesame Pulled Pork is cooked in a sweet sesame sauce in your slow cooker. This will certainly be a watch-section favorite, and it suits the day-staff just fine as augmentation to what gets brought in since it is far better than takeout.
This Sesame Pork is made easy in the slow cooker, and I guarantee it will satisfy that craving for takeout. Prep the pork tenderloin in the morning, add the sauce, and leave it all to simmer in the slow cooker. Serve it with rice for a delicious weeknight dinner!
Holly’s Autumn Farms pork bulk buy needs to be turned into sandwiches or something tasty to go with continued Gulf tensions now in the Hormuz and Ban al Mandeb. Plus an election, and doubtless with more surprises than a Gulf storm, whichever name we are using.
Simple to prepare yet impressive in presentation, these sesame pork sliders are a crowd-pleasing treat that’s sure to be a hit at any event, political weather or sports!
