Apologies

You may have noticed something different in the look-and-feel of The Daily. We know we have.

We fell back to this old system a couple years ago when the profundity of newer and more popular systems came along. Our kids told us to look a little more au currant, and we tried for a while. We forget if it was the first publicity about what the Google people were doing with all that data. We dropped it and went back to American On Line, since we knew how to use it.

We don’t know anyone else who uses the antique communications mode- but we have a couple collective lists that seem to cover most of the people we are actually writing for. Last week they changed the functionality of the system. There used to be a “toolbar” that ran across the top of the composition screen and enabled some perfectly mundane tasks. Those include the font and size of the characters, inserting of .jpg images and the other routine stuff one expects in a top-quality product.

We found alternatives, but they involve transitioning the group addresses across the digital morass.

We are committed to working it out. Our apologies in advance!
