There is a huge week coming up! Section leader miles is over at Army-Navy Country Club for the weekly Mimosa Meeting to talk about the seven ballistic missiles fired by helpless Iran over night. So that is still going on, and an incredible week is coming up. There is a significant anniversary day coming up for one of us- not a big deal really, except there will be a special little celebration that will include a World Cup and a group of distinguished out-of-town visitors, large SUVs that cost more now than our first houses then. And plenty of laughter.<\/p>\n
There are two big recipe dishes to parade around- the dual-vegan-an-separate beef version mushroom dish plus the big new pasta Italian Hot Dish which we are also going to do as a dual-purpose feeding concept. We are getting color-coded storage systems that enable us to cook the main body of sauces in one unified process while finishing as vegan and fill gluten versions that make comforting and hearty casseroles that bring together the rich flavors of Italian of German cuisines in single, satisfying lines of meals.<\/p>\n

\nWe have not figured out the coding system yet, so these clear but color-tinged dish layers keeps the savory mixtures of with and without Italian sausage, marinara sauce , and a blend of cheeses all baked to bubbly perfection.<\/p>\n
The combination of spices and herbs, along with the melted cheese and perfectly cooked pasta, makes these hot dishes perfect to feed old and young watch-standers. They are perfect for later afternoon watch-turnovers or production meeting potlucks. It makes them easy to prepare and then storage in an organized manner. full of flavor, delicious and crowd-pleasing for morning or evening events covering crisis events.<\/p>\n

Which brings us over to another of these situations where visibility is useful. The president recently announced the appointment of an acting Director of national intelligence to temporarily fill the desk vacated by former Director
\nTulsi Gabbard. That is Bill Pulte. He is the 5th Director of U.S. Federal Housing, conformed to that position by a bipartisan majority in the Senate. he has no expertise in the intelligence Community is is supposed to take care of for the 221 days he can serve by law before a confirmation must occur.<\/p>\n
Which he can’t pass at the moment, so the question here at Socotra house has been simple. What on earth is he supposed to accomplish at Langley in this intensely strange season?<\/p>\n
We think we have an idea. It is going to be about putting things into clearly identifiable boxes of distinct colors.<\/p>\n
And then getting rid of some. This is going to be interesting!<\/p>\n
