But that is just what we said Monday, not having any idea what the reactions on Tuesday were going to sound like.<\/p>\n
We thought the President had been clear. “No nukes. Turn over the atomic dust.”<\/p>\n
There seemed at least to be some clarity as to what those two things meant, anyway, at least between the Persians and the Americans, though some confusion arose after Iran violated the cease-fire and lobbed a cruise missile into one of the UAE’s atomic power plants.<\/p>\n
To the Boomers over here in the Fairfax Conference Room, it seemed like a clear statement with two implications:<\/p>\n
1. “Hey, America, if you want the Abraham Accords to be like NATO’s Article 5 mutual defense provisions, you might want to have some more meetings over there.<\/p>\n
2. And also for the Americans, your help in talking about this for a few weeks or months would be helpful in getting to a fair agreement for us like the JCPOA that worked out so well.”<\/p>\n
Once we got that settled, there was some discussion about Thursday haircuts since general conflict had not broken out yet back in the Mid-East with the afternoon dwindling over there.<\/p>\n
Miles figures the Company Salon down in the lobby can do an average of four cuts per hour, so he can have two full duty sections available with fresh shaves, good cuts and decent blow-dries if local, regional or international messaging sources across the River here or in Tel Aviv or Poland have a need for faces that look like their know something.<\/p>\n
