They were not planned as a book. They became one because the pattern emerged only after the last line was written.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where possible, the original voices and documents have been preserved \u2014 operational accounts, oral histories, and portions of Douglass Hubbard\u2019s Special Agent Vietnam are used with permission and attribution.
