There was a trip to the Arrowine Cheese Store over on North Glebe including most of the Creative Section and talk about going south after we heard the talk about the Canal.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently there is some talk about getting it back, since we built it, all accomplished in a perfectly legal manner without need of starting another war in this hemisphere. It is a favorite topic, since we have transited the narrow waterway, north and south which is the way to get east and west.<\/p>\n<p>Vic&#8217;s grandfather dug a shallow trench alongside the Big Ditch a century ago so they could speak on the telephone. Times and tech, you know.
