Hated seeing its slow peninsula strut
\nWiping out everything door to door
\nWhen it finished walking its Florida walk, headed straight towards me
\nTalking its trop-storm baby talk
\nNot liking its jive talking news talk<\/p>\n

Oh yeah
\nEff that Ian talk
\nEff that Ian walk<\/p>\n

Won\u2019t walk its walk
\nAnd won\u2019t talk its talk

I hate today\u2019s ghoul news video talk
\nWhen they talk that talk
\nThey just wanna knock us out

We\u2019ll finally talk our loss talk
\nAnd walk our clean up walk
\nLong after these hounds wipe clean their video boards of storm chalk talk
\nWe\u2019ll grieve our losses far away from their camera-stalk<\/p>\n

PS: We have been sent from friends and family many scenes of Ft Myers\u2019s devastation that pre-storm we knew intimately since the 70s from decade upon decade of pre-Ian visits, one of which was recent — two weeks ago. Perhaps sometime in the future we\u2019ll share these post Ian ruin photos along with the reconstruction and renewal scenes.<\/p>\n
