<\/p>\nEditor’s Note: The northernmost strands of hurricane Beta are wafting gently through this part of the Old Dominion. The wonderful weather that preceded the clouds and deceptive gentle rain had people out and about, almost like normal here in the rural hinterland, which naturally disdains excessive declaration from our state’s governor. I mentioned the one unusual sound heard here on the country lane this week. Gunfire, but not the usual sporadic sound stream of a citizen practicing for deer season, or whatever. I mentioned the long burst of what appeared to be some sort of rifle discharge somewhere to the north of the farm. It was interesting because I have not heard full auto-mode before in the decade I have owned the property. Combined with the strange news from Michigan, there appears to be some lunacy abroad across the country. Marlow has some thoughts about that. I will leave it at that for now…his thoughts below….<\/p>\n

For the past two plus weeks your humble correspondent and his W have been traveling America\u2019s forgotten lands. We were so far off the grid we had to drive 7-10 miles for cellphone service.<\/p>\n
Low and behold did Ole King Vic of Socotraland ping-query me thusly yesterday just before noon as I drove once again towards \u201ccivilization\u201c with my phone dinging its brains out with alerts of the day\u2019s \u201cnewsworthy\u201d outrage.<\/p>\n

In between pondering my response I sped-read spot reports of a \u201cmouth foamerz\u201d coup that had been cut off at the pass by the Feds and multiple other state LEAs.<\/p>\n
Thursday\u2019s arrests in Michigan track with what I had been hearing in Appalachian hill country last week and was seeing and hearing in the America\u2019s midwest this week.<\/p>\n
Lots of free floating fear, anger and whispered shit in front of relative strangers (namely me and W) that moves the threat needle up a notch or two IMO. These folks are smart enough to stay off social media, so any of their off grid plans won\u2019t evince reliable I&W indicators.<\/p>\n
A breaking point may come later when\/if, after a blood letting over the Amy Coney Barrett Supreme Court nomination or some feared future Biden orders of a federal mask or shutdown mandate. Side note: I know one of the People of Praise founders who\u2019s a classmate of mine and baptismal sponsor of daughter #1. The coming bigotry festival in that matter will have bad consequences due to most of these silent majority Roman Catholics\u2019 opinion of the swamp hard-flipping.<\/p>\n
Middle of the road – both working class and young professionals w\/o college degree – Catholics will, not may, become incensed. <\/p>\n
To reengage Vic\u2019s pointed query \u2014 the shit heard from millennial military members\/trad Catholics way out here in our country\u2019s mid and far lands was jaw dropping. Mutterings were ironically reminiscent of the Weather Underground era only in support of the constitution. Or at the very least as they see and speak it.<\/p>\n
During our current visit with W\u2019s mom out well beyond the outer beltway of a Midwestern state capitol city, a humongous new super Amazon distro center is being built that stretched beyond the horizon from up top of her mom\u2019s 12 foot high wooden deck across a country road that had been a bit larger than a one lane wide of gravel through the late 80s.<\/p>\n
In more ICFBI news as this week went on I kept seeing Trump road rallies that number in thousands upon thousands of pick up trucks with Trump flags flapping as they snarled traffic around entire outer or inner interstate beltways. Anybody could see that many of these vehicles sported weapons. <\/p>\n
On Wednesday this week I saw three shorter caravans of these folks storm past W\u2019s mom\u2019s house out in the sticks of Ohio. Geezus, never thought I\u2019d see that absent an unpopular war where real GIs were dying by the hundreds each week in a senseless lost cause.<\/p>\n
Multi gen families\u2019 LEO and first responder members indicated in conversations with me or next to me that LEO and National Guard unit members, if pushed too hard by a new swamp elite mandates, may outright flip the bird at them in more than just a metaphorical way.<\/p>\n
My $.02: These portents might become reality unless Biden and associated media honks take active forthright action to dissuade and downright disown the more rad left policy positions in his party. This week\u2019s 2020 debate may have likely been their best, if not last, chance to do so, if what I heard at a bar with the VP debate droning silently on with closed captions turned on. These folks are keeping track and are not low info voters.<\/p>\n
I drank bourbon while listening to these folks\u2019 reactions and commentary to drown my reactions and worst case-ism tendencies.<\/p>\n
Bottom line \u2014 the probability of potential, one off, spasmodic, anti left-elite revolts and direct action vs government and cultural elite targets is growing quite fast since the Democrats and their house media are refusing to read the tea leaves and take corrective action re their messaging just as they did in October-November 2016.<\/p>\n
Alas, we can\u2019t fix stupid just arm and armor up and watch from the sidelines.<\/p>\n
Like Vic, I\u2019ve already bought my ticket and am enjoying the below depicted ride.
