If only they didn’t want the world
\nThey wouldn’t have made us so sick
\nWe\u2019re sure their shame would pass upon apology
\nWere we too human, believing their lies?<\/p>\n
If only they’d buried their power lust
\nAnd been human and a bit more just
\nIf only they didn’t try stealing more and more
\nWere we just too human in adoring our sweet life so?<\/p>\n
If only our condemned had been spared, there\u2019d be no regret
\nMaybe had they told the truth, they wouldn’t feel so much guilt
\nIs it human to ask them for more?

We know evil when we see it
