This is short and sweet this morning, since I have to leave to pick up Jon Without in a few minutes to join Louie the Coastie and prepare to row across the Potomac, beach the gig, clamber out of the mighty brown river and identify and document the last remaining Stone of the District we have not touched, fabled SE9.
Here is what we intend to do:

Tried the walking route with Argo and it did not work. We also tried amphibious assault in a kayak, launched from National Harbor, which was scary as shit and far wetter than anticipated. Those factors forced a strategic withdrawal prior to mission success.
So, this time it is a multi-person boat, with crew, and here is what we have to cross to get there:
